I would advice if the tooth is not visible on smile go for metal ceramic crowns as its strength is more and not bad for posterior teeth and also cheap
On the other hand zirconia crowns looks more natural cost is higher than metal ceramic but strength wise lesser and usually advised for front tooth where esthetics is more important
Apart from it there is emax crowns which is better than zirconia , looks more natural and also better strength , the cost will again rise up as per the quality
