Worried about STD exposure

Hi ! I work in a place where me an my colleagues change seats and touch the same keyboards, mouses etc. Recently one of my colleagues experienced some flu like symptoms, in conjuction with severe skin rash etc. Today i found out that he's been hospitalized in isolation for an infection. From what i was told it had to do with his sex life, i'm assuming an STD. Now i have a habbit of scratching my face casually resulting in slight bleeding. Can i get an STD if he touched my devices and i scratche?

First of all, you need to find out his diagnosis. Route of disease transmission is different for different illnesses. So don’t get panicky. For flu like symptoms, you do need to be careful. For extra caution, take some cotton dipped in spirit and lightly apply on all the surfaces that come in human contacts like seat sides, table top, keyboard, mouse, door handles etc. This too is extra caution. Otherwise just relax
