Women period issue

Asked for Male, 35 Years

My wife having delayed period. Doctor provide meprate after negetive pregnant test. After taking meprate immediately period starts and last 6 days. Also suggested familon. While taking it she again have period within 10 days with small amount spotting. It lasts 5 days. Again after 12 days period starts. Please help.
