A white vaginal discharge has been coming out from her body for one year. She has also lower back pain. She has been consulted to many doctors (allopathy, ayurvedic & homeopathic) but got no results and they refer to cancer specialist and ask for biopsy test. Should it be done to detect cancer or is there any other test to authenticate the cancer as I've heard that biopsy test is very painful. Please guide me the best way to get the right treatment as my grand mother is 74 yrs old.

Long standing white vaginal discharge could be an early symptom of cervical cancer ..
so it is always advisable specifically in postmenopausal females like your grandmother to get a cervical biopsy done to be very sure that there is no underlying Pathology
