While washing face soap went inside eyes

While washing face soap went inside eyes and eye irritation. I washed eyes with water. But still some eye irritation exists and also in lower eyelid. Can you do any remedy for it.

Splash a lot of water inside eye. A little redness will be there because the soap is an irritant to eye. It shall get better in some time. However if the irritation and redness persist for more than few hours or if there is any associated diminision of vision or photophobia ( inability to bare bright light ) please consult and eye doctor immediately.
