Go for deep breathing exercises, incentive spirometry,
For deep breathing exercises.. inhale air to the full capacity slowly.. put one palm in stomach and notice if stomach is moving while inhaling.. then hold breath for 10sec then exhale slowly.. repeat for 10 mins

Deep breathing exercises and if available incentive spirometry would be the best exercises to keep our lungs healthy..
Huffing puffing and chest physiotherapy are also helpful if difficulty to expectorate sputum.
