When will my myopia be stable?

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I have 18D left eye and 14D right eye I am 30 years old , 4 years back the power was 15 and 12 respectively. Since the increase is 3 diopter in 4 years. Am i suffering from serious myopia? When this myopia will get stable? Or eye will elongnate for rest of my life? I had retina checkup done and had barrage laser for lattice degeneration.

You have high myopia in both eyes. Unlikely to be stable. Barrage laser for lattice degeneration will prevent retinal detachment.

Next Steps

You need to have frequent follow up 6 mnthly -1 yearwith retina specialist to check whether you are developing pathological myopia and other vision threatening pathologies.
