Hi... It's is always better to avoid sex at least 8 to 10 weeks. After delivery.... As mother is lacteting. She may lactional amenorrhea ..so it is difficult to find out safe period. Unless regular menses starts. It is always recommended to use protection like condom in such period. Thank u..
