What to do for corpus luteum in right ovary

I am a 32 year old woman and I’m 4 months pregnant. I have heard about corpus luteum and it sounds like a spell from Harry Potter. I was wondering what does Corpus Luteum in right ovary mean as this term was used by my doctor and I was lost as I didn’t quite understand what it meant. Can someone explain it to me?
