What is the dose for rotavirus vaccine
After my 5-year old was administered the rotavirus vaccine, he felt nauseous, light-headed and ran a little fever on the way back home. I was thinking if these are just symptoms of a normal fever or was the dose of the vaccine not correct. Does someone know what is adequate the dose for rotavirus vaccine?

Rotavirus vaccine dosage is 1 ml in two doses between the age 6 to 24 weeks with an interval of 4weeks in between. Since it is a live attenuated viral vaccine mild fever like symptoms are common after vaccination.
Health Tips
Keep an eye for any other very rare serious effects like diarrhoea, dehydration, intussusception, convulsions. If occurs the urgently consult your pediatrician
