Weight loss issue
Having a weight of 85, having hypothyroidism with a TSH level of 12, and taking medicine for it. I have done everything: walking for 1 hour, doing exercise, even though I have a low energy level. I am  taking meals only for breakfast and lunch. I have so much tiredness, but I am still trying to lose weight, but right now I am fed up. Is there any medicine for the same or something? Any endocrinologist, please help, or any specialist for this field only. Diet and all tried, not helping, and due to this, I have so much anger and demotivation along with stress wht should I do ... I know it will affects my body in future like miscarriage or something..I need to get back my weight somewhere 65 or 60

Problem here is, if you're taking the right dose or not. Don't get demotivated. Weight loss with hypothyroidism isn't easy, it's tough and takes 6 months to a year. First it depends since when you're taking the medicine. If you started recently, you need to wait for 2 months. If it's been time, I think you should get your full Thyroid Profile done and get your dosage to readjust. With the right dosage, weight loss is always easy with hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is the easiest problem to deal with, if you have the right dosage and follow a good lifestyle.

Hlo ma’am,m aapki dikkt samjh sakta hu  aap 26 yrs ki ho, weight 85 kg hai, TSH 12 ke saath hypothyroidism hai, isliye thakan, low energy aur weight loss mushkil ho raha hai. advice: Thyroid control sabse pehle – TSH abhi high hai, apne endocrinologist se dose adjust karaiye. Jab TSH 2–3 ke beech aayega tabhi metabolism theek chalega. Diet – Sirf breakfast & lunch mat lo. Isse metabolism slow hota hai. Din me 4–5 small healthy meals lo (protein, fruits, salads). Exercise – Roz brisk walk continue rakho, saath me strength training add karo. Lifestyle – Stress manage karo (yoga/meditation), 7–8 ghante ki neend lo. Medicines for weight loss – Kuch options hote hain (jaise Orlistat/GLP-1 agonists), par ye sirf endocrinologist ke supervision me liye jaate hain. Future pregnancy – Conceive karne se pehle TSH ko <2.5 maintain karna zaroori hai. Next step: Apne endocrinologist se dobara consult karo, thyroid dose adjust karwao aur ek proper diet plan follow karo. I hope this helps u. Or help k liye mujhe consult kr sakte thaku😊

I understand your struggle. The main reason you are not losing weight is that your thyroid is still not well controlled (TSH 12 is high). Once your medicine dose is adjusted and TSH comes to normal, weight loss will become easier. Don’t skip meals — eat small, balanced meals 3–4 times a day with good protein and fiber. Continue walking, and add some light strength exercises. After thyroid is controlled, if weight still doesn’t reduce, safe medical options are available (like Orlistat or newer injections), but only under specialist guidance. Please don’t lose hope — once your thyroid is stable, you’ll feel more energetic, stress will reduce, and reaching 60–65 kg will be achievable.

Your TSH shows your thyroid is still under-controlled. The first step is to review and adjust your levothyroxine dose with an endocrinologist. Once thyroid levels are normal, energy, mood, and weight control will improve. Skipping meals is not advisable — take small balanced meals and continue light exercise. Don’t worry, with proper thyroid control you’ll see progress.

If your TSH is 12 even with medication then you need to increase the dose of the medication. As your hypothyroidism is not in control, it will affect your weight.
Next Steps
Consult your physician/ endocrinologist to adjust your thyroixine dose. Or you could connect with me so we could move further with your management.
