Weight is not incraesing

My 2.9 year old son is just 12kg nd 91 cm of height..he looks weak..his weight is increasing just 50 gm per month..there is no other symptoms of parasite seen in him..Can i give him single dose of albendazole 400mg orally at interval of 6-6 months
