Hi weight gain can be due to multiple reasons. Gaining weight within a short span is not healthy. Check for any hormonal imbalances. Most common reason although is unhealthy lifestyle. Eating junk, outside foods, processed foods, no exercise... all contribute towards weight gain. So far weight is normal as per the mentioned height.

Hello dear, for healthy life style and reducing extra fat from your body start following few basics, start your day with minimum one to two glasses of normal or luke warm water, do have few nuts and one seasonal fruit in morning, have breakfast within two hours yo wake up, include toned milk or buttermilk in your breakfast, do take a mid meal after 2-3 hours of breakfast with any one fruit or few seeds or nuts. Include green salads in both major meals lunch and dinner. Include lots of seasonal green vegetables in your diet. Avoid Fried, maida and limit sweets. Take meals in time, do not overeat, maintain your portion. Do take minimum 10-12 glasses of water per day and minimum one hour of any workout minimum five days a week. No Junk food.
