Poor weight gain has numerous other indicators e.g. the child prefers sweet juices to food, avoids a certain type of food, swallowing/re-swallowing, parents eliminated some food because of abdominal pain etc.
Next Steps
Observe the other indicators.
Health Tips
Weight gain is not the only way to assess a baby's growth. Children are not meant to get fatter and fatter, but bigger overall.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Just give him what he eats and let him stay healthy and active. Do not try to make him fat. You are not doing the right thing by giving him supplements just because you think he is not proper weight. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
