Weaning of breastfeeding
My daughter is 1 yr 9 manth. I am willing to wean off breastfeeding totally because I am taking lots of medicine.. So is it safe wean off not gradually.. And pump is there throw the breast milk. For 2 times.. Is it fine

6 Months of exclusive breast feeding is ideally recommended. starting weaning from 7th month itself is a good idea. since she is already 9, you can very well introduce one kind of food for a week and see if it works for her before introducing another

Usually that is not an issue if you are trying to wean
your baby ....
you can do it either abruptly or gradually ..
most patients are able to do it gradually better as the baby and the mother both adjust to it

Stop breast feeding abruptly and no stimulation of nipples after that, give proper support to breast and breast milk formation will stop.. If you use to discard milk by emptying breast, it's of no use and milk supply continue..

Your child will ne 2 yr old in next 2-3 months.. You can very well stop breastfeeding your baby.. And i dont think that you will be needing breast pump... If you feel that the breast is filled and tensed then you may express the milk n throw

Your daughter can definitely be given all home cooked bland foods . No need to worry about speed of weaning off. Just take care of your own health,she will be fine
