The contraceptive pill should be started on the first day of menses when the bleeding starts. You should know that no contraceptive has a 100% efficacy. You can start with Tab Novelon once daily from first day of bleeding, for 21 days then when one pack finishes give a gap of 7 days and start the next pack. And so forth.

At this time after sex from many days can't be prevented now, so wait for periods till your date, if you missed then go for pregnancy test first on 10 that day off missed date.
