Having citrus fruits leads to cold is not scientific ,in your question even when you are not giving citrus he is having allergic cough you added when ever he play it eat sweets leads to cough , this complaint defines he is having multi trigger wheeze , as few fellow doctors advised use vit d and c perhaps zinc also favours the child ,but first change thinking process that citrus cause cold .
