Both your B12 (148) and Vitamin D (11.9) are significantly low — these are not borderline values, they are clear deficiencies. B12 at this level can cause nerve-related symptoms like tingling, weakness, and fatigue, while Vitamin D at 11.9 is severely deficient and needs an aggressive loading dose. The exact dosage and form of supplementation — especially for B12, whether oral or injection is better — depends on your symptoms and whether you have any absorption issues.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can prescribe the right dose and form of supplements based on your specific levels and symptoms.

Your reports show definite Vitamin D and B12 deficiency, which can lead to fatigue, body pains, low energy, and sometimes nerve-related symptoms if untreated. Treatment plan: Take ( vitamin D) Cholecalciferol 60,000 IU once weekly for 8 weeks Then continue once monthly for maintenance Best taken after a full meal For Vitamin B12 If you have symptoms like weakness, tingling, numbness → go for Methylcobalamin injections 1500 mcg weekly × 4–6 weeks, then monthly If no major symptoms → Oral Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg daily for 2–3 months
Next Steps
Supportive advice: Sun exposure: 15–20 min daily (morning sunlight) Diet: Increase milk, curd, eggs, fish/meat (if non-veg)
Health Tips
Repeat levels after 8–12 weeks If symptoms are present or levels don’t improve, further evaluation for absorption issues may be needed

These values indicate deficiencies of both vitamin B12 and vitamin D, which can contribute to fatigue, weakness, body aches, numbness/tingling, and other symptoms. Please consult a physician for evaluation and appropriate supplementation, and correlate with CBC/hemoglobin and clinical symptoms.

Since your Vitamin B12 is quite low, then ideally you should go for Injections of B12 but if you are not comfortable in taking injections, you can take B12 supplements as well. Take Methylcobalamine 1500mcg(whatever brand available in your area) for 2-3 months daily. but you need to check also, Your folate levels, MCV levels, Iron profile and Thyroid profile. For Vitamin D, you have two options- You can take daily supplements- 2000-4000U with Calcium 500 and K2 supplements You can go for weekly supplements as well with 60000 U weekly along with Calcium and K2 supplements. If you can go for consultations, book the consultation, I would love to give you clear vision or you can follow i have mentioned above.
