Vision gets worse 1-2 years

Asked for Male, 12 Years

I am looking for a eye docter but I have very thick glasses and I'm 12, when ever i take them off it's bad, I can only see things that are very close to me. I am worried if my eyesight will get worser. Is there a way to help my vision without my thick glasses?

From the sound of it you probably have a high myopic refractive error. You require frequent eye checkups till you are about 18 to 20 years after which you can consider contact lenses or refractive surgery. Consult a local rye doctor please.
