Vision / Eyes
Hi, first I want to let you know that i wear glass -1.5/-1.75 L/R. My vision was perfect till college but after that, just for fun, I used coloured lenses, for a year or so.. after sometime I realised that while sitting on last seat i have a blurry vision. Visited doctor and came to know that my number is -0.25/-0.5 L/R. But i didn't use glasses because that time I thought it's fine .. but after an year it gets increased to -0.75/-1, then I started using glasses but not everytime. Again after some time it gets increased to -1/-1.25 . Then I started using glasses all the time. But with in a 2 year my number has increased to -1.5/-1.75. I am worried with the increase of my number. Please suggest.

Fluctuations in vision may be related to 1. Diabetes - Do a blood test for Fasting & PP      sugar 2. Dry Eye - Dry eye develops when a person isn’t able to produce enough nourishing tears to lubricate the front surface of the eye which is necessary for clear vision. Eyes will feel irritated and scratchy and one can experience blurred vision from chronic dry eye. 3. Deprivation of sleep-  Our eyes need a break and the only time that can happen is when one sleeps. It’s important for our eyes to rejuvenate and at least 5 hours of sleep are needed for that to happen.  Sleep deprivation reduces tear secretion 4. Chronic allergic reaction may also lead to     fluctuations in vision - Do you have any       symptoms like itching, roapy discharge or       foreign body like sensation ?
Next Steps
1.Do a blood test for sugar 2. Use Artifical tear ( carboxy methyl cellulose ) eye drop ;  one drop four times daily. 3. Follow 20 -20 rule -  If you have, it's likely the result of eyes strain, which happens when your eyes get tired from intense use. Luckily, it can be remedied with a helpful trick called the 20-20-20 rule . Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. 4. Don't forget to blink when you are watching something with concentration . 5. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables & fruits & sufficient amount of water 6. maintain right posture during work
