Very Low Voice
I was on ventilator for 4 days due to severe dengue and pneumonia. Now i got recovered and my voice is very low. So how much time will it take to get my voice back ?

You need to see an ENT doctor. He will see inside your larynx( voice box) for any injury to vocal cord or adjacent structures. It will take several weeks for voice to return to normal.

Relax your self. Avoid cold .voice rest.slow breathing exercises.

Do not worry. That may be due to laryngeal edema due to intubation. It will subside gradually in 4-7days. Take symptomatic treatment if necessary.

post extubation these issues are common and will take approx 1week to recover..if it persists then do connect
