The treatment of closing gaps depends on patients requirement.suppose if the patient wants to get the gaps closed n a short time say lik 1 week, veeners or caping is the optn..n both the above  treatment the natural tooth is reducd by Max 2 mm so that the venners or caps can fit in. If the patient is having enough time say lik an year and wants to get ther teeth aligned n a natural way,yes then they can go for braces treatment,n which the teeth Wil be aligned naturally, but time consumption is more..
Next Steps
if u want to get ur gap closed n short time, yes u can go for veeners or caps, the only negative is slight trimming of natural tooth, but both the treatments are permanent if u wana close the gap naturally and have enough time of year and more on hand, yes u can go for braces treatment..that too is permanent

Veneers cut healthy tooth structure. Braces do not. Go for Orthodontics (Braces).
