Married Life : 3+ years (together since 2 year of marriage ) and Trying to conceive from past 6 months.
Suffering with mild pcos and vaginismus and a gynecologist suggested for IUI with anesthesia.
We both had typhoid fever and now can we go for this treatment or should we wait sometime to get free from Typhoid completely.
As our clock is ticking, what is your suggestion on this?

Regarding Vaginismus, there is no need to run away from the problem. Using anaesthesia is not a permanent solution. Read about use of Botox for the same on www.drrajeevagarwal.co.in/renovare-clinic. Success rates are fantastic and long term.
Regarding PCO, you need more evaluation and use of drugs like Metformin and or agents to make your eggs better. IUI maybe a good solution but only after testing for tubal patency.
Regarding Thyphoid, give your body maybe a month or so to heal from within and then try.

Dear Practo user,
You can go ahead if there are no residual symptoms. In case of doubt, better to consult treating Physician (of Typhoid fever) about persistence of the disease.
