Iam 50 yrs old suffering from vaginal yeast infection just before and after periods since 6 months .I tried Forcan 150 on the advice of a doctor friend yesterday.How long it will take to reduce the discharge and mild irritation after using this medicine.Iam told that one tablet is sufficient.Is this true.

Yes forcan single stat dose is given. But a course of topical antifungals is best to eradicate the infection totally. However at your age you should also get diabetes ruled out as well.
