Vaginal itching , burning and bumps
I shaved my private area a few days back and after that I had an intercourse with my partner after 3 days of shaving. Till then it was fine nothing happened but recently from last 4 days my vagina internally is burning while peeing and labia has bums , cliotirs was swollen . Extreme itching and burning is happening inside my vagina and bumps are paining while touching, walking or even sitting. I am having the urge to touch and scratch as it is too much itching and at the same time when I touch it's burning like hell . On the 1-2 day I took combiflam for pain relief and used mupirocin cream but results are not that visible and now it's been 4 days without pain killer it's itching and burning like hell and the bumps are labia and inside vagina are not reducing and paining while walking or touching. Please prescribe me good medicine to take and get rid of it

Dear Patient, Based on your history (shaving → intercourse after few days → burning during urination + painful bumps on labia + clitoral swelling + severe itching), the most likely causes are: Local skin infection / folliculitis after shaving (very common) Fungal or bacterial vulvovaginitis due to friction and moisture Irritation + micro-abrasions from shaving leading to secondary infection Less commonly, herpes infection (if blisters with severe pain or ulcers appear) Since you have burning inside vagina + painful external bumps, you likely need both oral and local treatment. Medicines you can take • Tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg at night × 5 days → for itching • Tablet Fluconazole 150 mg single dose (repeat after 3 days if symptoms persist) → for fungal infection • Tablet Paracetamol for pain if required (avoid frequent Combiflam) • Topical Candid-B cream (clotrimazole + mild steroid) — apply thin layer externally twice daily for 5–7 days • Mupirocin can be continued only on painful bumps if pus-like infection suspected Important care Do not scratch (will worsen burning) Wash with plain lukewarm water only (no soaps / intimate wash) Wear loose cotton underwear Avoid intercourse until completely healed Drink plenty of water (reduces urine burning) You can do sitz bath (warm water sitting) 10 minutes twice daily — very helpful When to worry • Fever • Ulcers or fluid-filled blisters • Severe pain not improving in 3–4 days • Vaginal discharge with foul smell If symptoms do not improve within 3–5 days, examination/picture is necessary to rule out herpes or severe infection. For proper diagnosis and personalized prescription, you can text me on Practo anytime.
