My normal period ended a week ago and tonight i noticed ive started having lots of bleeding im really worried as to what it is?

This can happen due to harmonal imbalance, miscarriage ,use of emergency contraceptive pills or due to some pathology inside the pelvis like PCOs ,polyp etc .in order to which one is true u would need to get an ultrasound done for lower abdomen along with a few tests,for any further information or assistance you may get back to us.
