Antibioma occurs if a pus filled abscess was treated with antibiotics and the interior of the so called abscess has solidified. If you are right with your diagnosis of antibioma and if your child is otherwise well, pneumococcal vaccine is not a contraindication. The CDC says that only if your child is allergic to the vaccine or is severely ill, only then is the vaccine contraindicated. Hope this bit helps!
