Vaccination schedule.. Very confused
Hi everyone, I got my child vaccinated at 6 weeks and 10 weeks from govt hospital and she was administered penta, rota and polio both time but pcv was given at 6 weeks and is due now i. e. 14 weeks. But I was thinking of getting vaccination at pvt hospital this time expecting less pain and less fever.. Shall I proceed and if yes what about PCV ? In pvt it is given at 6 weeks, 10 weeks and 14 weeks.. Which is not the case in govt. There it is given at 6 weeks, 14 weeks and then after 9 months. Pl advise.. I am very confused

Don't worry..go by one schedule. You can not change the vaccine type once started.

Hi. If u have taken vaccine at Govt hosp, take the last dose also there itself. A month after that I.e, 18 weeks u can take booster dose of pcv at a private hosp. U need not take any further doses of pcv till his or her first bday. Next vaccination after 18 weeks would be at 6 completed months and that’s. FLU 1.
Next Steps
Since first two shots she got fever , better to continue the same vaccine. In pvt hospitals we give acellular component which has almost nil fever and pain..
