Vaccination of Influenza & pneumonia
Sir, is it safe to give vaccinations of influennza and pnemonia for a 66 yrs female who is dibetic(on insulin), chest issues(on inhalers) and talking depression medicines, as adviced by a chest specialist. Just need an advice and knowledge from this side too. Regards

Yes it is safe and recommended. As the patient is a diabetic, she is more prone to get infections and vaccinating her with influenza and pneumococcal vaccine will significantly reduce her chances of acquiring infections.

Hello It is safe and recommended for her. Yearly influenza vaccine is recommended 2 types of pneumococcal vaccines are available (First PCV13 and after 1 year PPSV 23)
