Hi, my new born baby girl is 2 months old. We are not able to put 6th week vaccination due to corona. Is it ok if we extend and put the same post lockdown? Please assist shortly.

As per new guidelines issued by IAP,ACVIP-15/4/20 vaccination comes under essential services.all vaccination upto 1 year should be followed as per schedule.u have to take prior appointment with pediatrician so that he can make proper arrangements so that immunization is completely safe.
Next Steps
Call pediatrician to make appointment for vaccination
Health Tips
only 1 parent to visit with child.Parent to visit doctor with mask. child more than 1 year should also wear mask. If child is having cough cold, immunization should be delayed.

6 weeks vaccination comes under primary vaccination so not advised to delay, as per latest govt guidelines. So call a Paediatric hospital or clinic hearby and take appointment prior to visiting.

If possible get it done in nearby clinic rather than rushing to your pediatrician asap
