UTI symptoms exist

Asked for Female, 32 Years

Under treatment for uti with Ecoli with Martifur twice for 7 days and Urispas twice for 4 days.Also on thyronorm . I am half past the dosages but feel nauseatic, still have burning sensation in urethral and vaginal areas.Also itching around vagina.Please suggest if medications have to be changed or something else like home remedies could help alleviate the symptoms.Also I am afraid if the infection recurs as I have suffered a lot with Utis since 2008. Also I am breastfeeding which raises concerns on my baby's health due to these medications.

Firstly these medicines do not harm the baby through breast feeding. Secondly, please do urine culture again to see if the infection has gone. Next, as you have repeated UTI, you should do blood sugar test and USG kidney to look for the cause
