UTI is 8months old
Hello dr, my boy baby is 8 months old and urine culture shows e coli with 100000cfu/ml. He is straining while passing urine and constipated and he hardly drinks water around 50ml per day. Plz suggest me 1.whether hospatlization required 2. why it happens and is it common 3. Plz suggest me hygiene steps 3. Whether diapers are allowed in night time

Child has UTI then treatment or antibiotics should be according sensitivity of urine culture Try to give him plenty of fluids UTI can be occur if child is constipated so try to relive constipation give complementary feed less milk diet Give cereal based diet more and after one year start to give toilet training Normal wash can be done Diapers can be used in night time
