UTI for 1yr baby
Hi doctor, My 1yr old baby has UTI for past 10days. From last week he got 103.2 fever and he felt better yesterday. Today again he has fever lik 100.1.v visited hospital last week itself. Doc advised us to take urine culture report. Yesterday v met doctor with report.by tat time baby fever decreased as 99.2 and he is so active lik before. So doctor advised to take 2nd reprort urine culture to check whether any sensitives lik syrup basis medications. Attached my baby urine culture report. V r very confused about our baby health and stressed. Pls advice

Yes the baby has evidence of UTI which needs to be treated with antibiotics. Now if the fever has reduced that means he is responding well.

Hi, The child as UTI. Oral antibiotics in the culture will not suit him, go for IV antibiotics.
