Uterus removal advice

Asked for Male, 59 Years

My wife suffers over bleeding with severe pain during MC every month and it takes not less than 10 days. Last menstruation started on 4th February and as on 11th seems to be stopped. Prolapsed uterus/ PCOD case. Taking Ayurveda medicines since last 2 years. We are blessed 4 children and youngest is of 24 years. Want to know whether uterus removal is safe. What will be the Suitable time frame if it is possible. Also to know how long patient should be admitted in hospital & appox cost.
