My mother is 47 years old. her report for ultrasanograph (whole abdomen) showing --
"comments--myometrium ecotexture is heterogenoudls-possibly adenomyosis."
one month before she had a tvs report which was showing1.4*0.8 cm myoma in her uterus.now I 'd like to know about her latest report.what does it mean? what is adenomyosis?

Ademomyotic changes means functional uterine lining in uterine muscle so pt having painful menses, heavy flow, bulky uterus... If symptoms severe might need to remove uterus.. If not can be managed medically
