I am 27 yrs old, I am 34 weeks pregnant, I got USG done with three Radiologists, the value of AFI has been given as 5.6, 8-9, 4 respectively in three consecutive days, I am tensed, can you please guide me for my future course of action...

It is Oligohydramnios,means fluid is less for this gestational age.strict minitoring of fluid ,fetal movement,USG Doppler is to be done.Hydration,rest, are conservative management should be followed.Follow your Gynec advice.

8 9 AFI is normal...but on very next day it became 4 only. There may be chances of leaking of fluid .if she having complain of discharge from vagina...in that case you have to deliver early .

Watch baby movements consciously
Anything alarming like less movements & tightening you need to see your doc in emergency
Have a close follow up with your gynaec
The fluid is slightly low. Do not worry. If baby's blood flow (seen in Colour Doppler) is good, no need of immediate action. But repeat scan every 2 weeks. Delivery should be done by 37 weeks in NICU set up.
Visit your gynaecologist for check up. Also get Color Doppler done for blood flow to baby. And get the scan done every two weeks or as per your doctor's advice. If AFI doesn't increase, your doctor will take decision about delivery.
