My mother is suffering from urine infection.. when she continues takes medicine she feel better.but after stop taking medicine she again got Problem like eaching un thigh area and burning sensation in that part.. what to do..dr says that she has to continue take medicine for 3 to 4 years untill infections totaly gone.. what to do.. what is permanent soln.. do i worry about it or not.. plz suggest

Your mothers age must beabove 45.so you should go and check her blood sugar level.she might be diabetic . Tell her to wash the part with water after every act of urination.and she should also get herself checked personally with a gynaecologist,so to exclude any cervial erosion and go for paps smear also.

Definitely if it is a recurrent urinary tract infection then medication should be continued for long, otherwise it can go up and may affect the upper urinary tract as well...
