Breathing fast during and after feeds is not a good sign. Please get baby evaluated with a pediatrician again. He will be able to decide on further treatment and guide if hospitalization required or not.
Breast milk is best for the baby. In conditions when mother can't breast feed or provide breast milk, formula milk is an alternative. Cows milk is not good for babies till 1 year of age. Kindly do not start cows milk till 1 year of age.
Hygiene and proper sterilization of the feeding bottles and nipples is very important. Kindly teach the parents how to sterilize them. Even the surroundings of the baby like his clothes, bedsheets, towel and linen should be kept clean. Ensure child is regularly receiving his vaccination.
