I have been suffering from severe upper back pain from past 5 years. It happens when i stretch my upper back, its all around upper back and when i usually strech my back lot of craking sound comes.Also i feel i am anxiety patient.. because i think lot about the pain..
My job includes sitting in front of laptop for long hours.. i do not excercise bit lazy on that part.
No other symptoms I have experienced,no numbness nothing that sort ..pain is confined to upper back only which includes shoulder blades too.
Please help!

Ypurs seem to bw a mechanical pain.
If severe, take a tablet paracetamol 500 mg sos, or apply diclofenac-menthol gel for temporary relief.
You need to bring certain changes in ypur posture and also ypu need to fo certain exercises on daily basis, whoch will help you to cope up with this after long working hours . You may consult online for better help and proper demonstration of Do's and Don'ts in your case.
