Upper Abdominal pain

Asked for Female, 29 Years

My wife gets upper abdominal pain or pain near belly line if food is not taken on proper time or skipped. Pain is very sharp and goes beyond tolerance level. Last year we did USG, but report was normal. On giving Ulgel or Antacids power reduces. Does it indicate ulcer? What treatment is required?

She is most probably suffering from acid peptic disease. Ask her to take all her meals in proper time without delay and not to skip any meals. Preferably avoid taking coffee and tea. Avoid oily and spicy foods and definitely outside food.
