Asked for Female, 38 Years

I'm 38 years old, have a 6 year old daughter. I'm pregnant again and wish to abort the foetus. In my estimate I should be 6 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to go for a DNC !? ASAP ? Without any hazard to my life.
