Untimely periods
I'm a 44-year-old woman. I've been suffering from untimely periods from the past 2 years. It happens after every 6 months and major bleeding happens only on 5th, 6th & 7th day of getting it. Otherwise on 1st, 2nd & 3rd day, there is only 1 or 2 patches of bleeding. I feel really very weak during the periods. Please help.

Your age is very vulnerable for abnormal periods. Usually this is due to hormonal imbalance but at this age there is also chance of gynaecological cancers. Please go to your gynaecologist for a check up. Also remember that gynae cancers are curable if treated early.
