Typhoid Fever

Asked for Male, 24 Years

I have been suffering from Typhoid since last 3 weeks as per the Reports. I had consulted a doctor . He Prescribed me medicine for 10 days. After then i again visited him as i was not okay ,He again gave me medicines for 5 days . But still I am not alright . I am getting very mild fever and not able to digest food . What shall I do ?? Shall I change my doctor Or Just take rest and take care of foods as my doctor suggested ??

Your doctor might have prescribed the appropriate antibiotics for typhoid fever. But to my knowledge the way you are describing is a residual weakness which is seen commonly while recovering from typhoid fever. What I recommend is that complete the prescribed medicine course and have rest. If even after this it doesn't get better then some further evaluation may be required by a qualified MD doctor.
