U have just completed 2.5 months of medication course.. govnt. India is providing the best medications to all.. kindly follow the instructions given by your doctor.. and don’t discontinue the medication without your doctor’s advice.. kindly remember, where ever you go, the medicine is going to be same.. only the trade name (brand name) differs.. so kindly stick to govt..

Hello. Thanks for your question. I would very strongly advice you to continue your TB medications if you are not having any serious side effects. you have already taken TB meds for 2.5 months and you have  3.5 months of treatment left ,if you are on Cat 1 treatment. if you stop  your treatment or change meds on your own or by other dr ( unless otherwise specified )you may get resistant TB later on. some ques, pl 1.I am not sure why you wish to see a private dr when govt hospital is treating you free.? 2.are or is your symptoms not improving ? 3.are you having any side effects.? 4. you must be on Isoniaziad and Rifampicin by 2.5 months of treatment, plus vit B6.is this correct?
Next Steps
Please continue your treatment. you can discuss any doubts you have about trt with your govt dr. if you need further advice you can chat online with me and reply with answers i requested you. i treat Drug resistant TB too and have been treating TB at govt hospital.
