TT for thorn bite on feet
My son is 9 years old. Today afternoon while playing in frontyard plant thorns pierced on his feet.almost 15- 20 thorns were there on his feet.we tried to take out and then went to doctor for help .but still a few part is left . Is it necessary to take TT for him

Clean foot thoroughly with soap water followed by savlon.
Yes,it's advisable for tetanus shot at day 0,day 6 and at 6 weeks.
Watch out for signs of infection,i.e redness,swelling and pain.

Dear parents,
As injured part came in contact with mud (soil).
Tetnus spores remain in soil, so its necessary to give TT vaccine with in 24hrs of injury.
