Myself Divya, my lmp was April 26th I am diagnosed with pcos, as we are planning for a baby,doctor advised me to take clomifene citrate 50mg from day 3 to day 7, then susten 400mg from day 20 for 15 days This is my first cycle of clomifene and susten tabs, what is the chances of me concieving this cycle, is this tablet good for pcos condition If in case I haven't concieved this cycle is it good to take another cycle?? And also will my menses happen properly after finishing susten for 15 days if in case I haven't concieved... please guide me doctor

Please remember, if you are taking clomiphene, it's important to do TVS follicular study to see if you had ovulation with the medicine. If you did not have ovulation, there is no use of taking this medicine repeatedly, rather you should change it. On the other hand, if you had ovulation, in one month the chance of pregnancy is 15% (out of 100 women, 15 can conceive in one month). Therefore, if you cannot conceive in one month, still there is chance that you can conceive in next month. therefore, we advise to take the medicine for 3-4 cycles. If no results, then you should move to the next step.
