Hello dear, Hemorrhagic cyst is due to capillary rupture after or before ovulation. When follicle reach a size of 18-20 mm , ovulation occurs and ovum is picked up by a fallopian tube. After ovulation, Corpus leuteum is formed in the ovary. Many times the capillary rupture event occurred during ovulation may lead to a hemorrhagic cyst. For more information please reach out to the nearest Gynecologist or you can consult me as well. Thank You
