Traumatic brain injury
We did an MRI for my son 2 years back, now he is 9 years old and found the following findings1. Gliotic changes in the right basal temporal lobe and 2. Features of mild left cerebral peri ventricular Leukoencephalopathy. My son had a traumatic birth. But he is a very normal kid as others, except mild vision issues (wears glasses) he is very normal, good at academics. What does his finds mean, is there anything to worry about? He doesn't have any other physical or mental issues. Please reply.

Hello ! So, yr child got his MRI brain done at 7 yrs ...if I m right , but y did he need that , was he having any problem at that time. Was it a follow up MRI ??? If now he is ok by now developmentally and also in scholastic performance then there's nothing to worry about the MRI report

Hi, If the child is active and developmentally normal, then don’t worry about the MRI report.
