Transverse myelitis
3 month ago, suddenly due to back pain and suddenly both the legs not working,urine stops, in MRI report says transverse myelitis. Treatment and physiotherapy is going on, but I want 2nd opinion because within 3 month, 40 to 50% recovery in patient.

Hello..... Although most people with transverse myelitis have at least partial recovery, the process may take a year or more....steroids and plasmapheresis is done for symptomatic treatment.. Minimal residual effect will be there in most of transverse myelitis cases.. Rapidly progressive disease have worse prognosis.
