Total removal of reproductive organs
My mother(Age 47) is suffering from uterine intramural large Fibroid (8.4×5.1 cm)which is seen in posterior wall with submucosal extension and displace endometrial echo anteriorly . Her uterus size is 12.2×6.9×6.1 cm).  After the taking of dr. Suggested medications for 2 years , Fibroid size become larger than before . Before taking medicine the size was (4.4×3.5 cm). But after taking medicine the size is (8.4×5.1 cm) . The bleeding and pain sometimes stop completely and sometimes start again.. Dr. Suggested to do a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy through laparoscopic process. Is it harmful to her health in future ? Is it life threating process ?  any Side effect of it ?
